A Graham Farish Train Set is the perfect entry into the wonderful world of model railways. Each train set includes everything you need to get up and running so why not indulge today and start your journey towards building your own masterpiece in miniature.

Arguably most famous for its commuter services, the Southern Railway also transported scores of people from the cities and the suburbs to holiday destinations by the sea, including the idyllic Thanet resorts of Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate. Rekindle the joys of summer holidays with this set and take the Thanet Flyer to start your holiday, complete with locomotive and coaches each carrying the vibrant Malachite Green livery with ‘Sunshine’ markings!

This SOUND FITTED train set is supplied with a SE&CR N Class Steam Locomotive which is pre-fitted with a Sound Decoder (manufactured by Zimo), allowing the model to produce realistic sounds when placed on the track and with power applied. What’s more, should you wish to replace the analogue controller supplied with this set with a Digital Command Control (DCC) unit, your model is pre-loaded with a full suite of sound effects which can be controlled at the press of a button when used with a DCC system.
